The original may be better known, but I sing The Story Train (welcome version) far more often, as it’s my current opening song at my toddler and preschool storytimes. I learned it from my colleague Anna, back when she worked as a children’s librarian too. I haven’t played the breakfast food song yet, but I’m so excited to try it that I whipped up another quick felt story to go with it. It should make its storytime debut soon.
